Two interaction projects I made, starting from zero experience in Arduino.

Party Insects

What

An interactive drinking game

How

The game starts when a player places their cup on the coaster. The interface shows a "random number" generated by the computer. The players press the "force sensors" and try to let their force value be as close as the "random number". The closest player's cockroach goes forward. The first to cross the finish line wins. Once a cockroach arrives at the finish line, the alcohol tap will be triggered, alcohol pours into the cup, and the winner gets to drink it!!!

Why

To build an interactive game for party fun after our finals. Putting Arduino and Processing knowledge into practice, while combining the use of supersonic sensors and servo motors.

Tech

ArduinoProcessing

This interaction design is made with Arduino and processing.

Process

I made the "force sensor" with a piece of foam, some pencil leads shavings and resistors. Drew a brief flow chart and wrote some prototype codes to test out the codes and hardware's function. Then refine and put everything together.

Higher Education

diploma vending machine

What

Cash for Diploma!!

How

Once you wave your cash in front of the vending machine, it offers you a diploma.

Why

Some sarcastic fun humor for the higher education system.

Tech

Arduino

This interaction design is made with Arduino.

Process

Made by an Arduino set including a supersonic sensor and a servo motor with an if-else loop coding.
